I specialize in the philosophy of law and African-American philosophy. I recently received a fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) to write a series of articles on reparations for American slavery.
I earned a B.A. from Howard University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.A. from Tufts University, and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
I am a member of the Washington, DC Bar and the director of the Howard University BA/JD program.
